Georgia Division

Project Engineer/Field Engineer

Travel Required

  • Work with a vibrant and diverse team to build, estimate, and schedule​ projects​

  • Provide overall on-site construction and technical management.

  • Support both administrative and construction activities as assigned by supervisor; review proposals, specifications and drawings, perform material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and attend pre-bid investigation meetings.

  • Prepare work plans, assure quality control, manage and track costs and materials, schedule equipment, administer safety programs and maintain exceptional owner relations.

  • Resolve field problems and conflicts, liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and workforce on field details.

  • Graduate with a degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline

  • Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA requirements

  • Broad knowledge and ability to understand project scheduling and cost control as well as to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings

  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Pro Log and/or Primavera “P6” is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies

  • Strong work ethic – highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right

  • Build and construct bridge columns, decks, caps and structures

  • Building wood and metal forms

  • Setting and tying steel

  • Pouring and finishing concrete

  • Knowledge of use of 

  • hand and power tools

  • Interpreting blueprints

  • Previous experience in bridgework

General Laborer

Travel Required - Atlanta/Metro Atlanta

  • Perform tasks involving physical labor at building, highway, and heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations, and demolition sites.

  • May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.

  • Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.

  • May assist other craft workers.

Concrete Finishers

Travel Required - Atlanta/Metro Atlanta 

  • Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as, bridge decks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.  

  • Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed.

  • Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them.

  • Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.

  • Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.

  • Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process.

  • Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete, and move chute to direct concrete on forms.

  • Produce rough concrete surface, using broom.

  • Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.

  • Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special 

CDL Driver

  • Driver will be responsible for delivery and pick up of materials at various job sites.

  • Driver will also be responsible for any additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Minimum 5 yrs CDL driving experience

  • Valid CDL

  • Lowboy Experience a plus.

  • No serious disqualifying traffic violations within the last three years(including no speeding tickets over 15mph in past three years)

  • Proven solid, safety record and stable work history

  • Must meet all DOT requirements

  • Ability to work off-hours(nights) and weekends 

  • NO DOT REPORTABLE ACCIDENTS WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS

Washington Division

  • 3 Years experience required, with references

Cable Barrier Division

NOTE: The Cable Barrier Division travels based on the location of the project. TRAVEL IS REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS IN THIS DIVISION
